ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
The Vox Populi Collective is excited to present Wild/Mild: Vox Populi’s 17th Annual Juried Exhibition. The selection process this year was held by the Vox Populi Members who thoroughly reviewed over a hundred applications of artists from in and around the Philadelphia area.
The past two years have been a wild time, with many isolated, boring, and mild moments. The emotional highs and lows we have all experienced influences the open call theme Wild/Mild. The two terms guided the selection process to generate a discourse through the gallery about the mundane, the frivolous, the consuming, and the untamed. The relationships between these nineteen disparate artists come together to show the subtle similarities between extremes.
