Written in 2011, Twin Fawns is a novel about the origins of the character The Moon Baby and her inexorable link to her creator, Philadelphia artist Barbara Daisy Bliss. Part deep space adventure, part scripture, part erotic essay, Twin Fawns has been presented throughout the years in various venues in Pittsburgh in the context of an opera with dramatic readings and corresponding music.
