The Feast

The Feast

FIRST SHOW TICKETS

SECOND SHOW TICKETS

The Feast! A monthly showcase of experimental comedy at Vox Populi. Come see the latest and greatest minds of our time work out new bits, give great performances and make you feel weird but kinda good inside.

Our first show is “Cool Stuff or Power Points to Make You Not Want to Kill Yourself”  by John Miller Giltner (they/them). After being cut off for time at their dad’s funeral, non-binary folk musician and PowerPoint artist John Miller Giltner is pulling an Albert Camus. AKA: I’m gonna try to help the audience and myself find a reason to live that isn’t also a reason to die. (See one of Camus books. I don’t know. I’ve read like 15 pages of this guy.) In a show that deals with loss, dating, the suicidal intent of John Miller’s father, and climate change (for grant money), Cool Stuff will pluck at your heart strings and make you want to die a little less.  Doors open 7pm

Our second show is HELLRIDE FREAK MIC: award winning bimbo Sarah Knittel hosts the most demonic open mic. Come try out your freak bits, alt comedy, performance art, idiot, clown, dumb sh*t ONLY.  Showcase of hotties followed by mic. Sign up online or show up. 4 min sets. Doors open 9pm

Join us for one or both shows! Tickets are pay what you wish, with all of the proceeds going to the artists.
