Artist Bios
Rebel Foster: Community motivates everything Philadelphia DJ, Rebel Foster, does — his artistry is galvanized by the idea music brings people together. His moniker is literal and speaks to his wide variety in styles, he’s known for switching up styles from house to hip-hop, trap to soul. With his hit party All the Cutz at the Blind Barber, he’s been capturing every party goers attention each month. Rebel Foster has been co-signed by major DJs in the industry, including Matthew Law, DJ Aktive, and Cosmo Baker, and has become a known name in the Philadelphia music community.
YŌSUKE DJ is a Philadelphia-based electronic music artist known for their contributions to the city's underground dance music scene. They have been a featured performer at events like "Concrète Philly" and the "Subsummer" series, playing genres such as house, techno, and tech house. YŌSUKE DJ is recognized for curating unique musical experiences, including guerrilla-style parties in unconventional spaces like abandoned piers. They also frequently collaborate with other local artists and organizers to elevate the city's nightlife culture (1). Wet Betty is a candy colored clown, a bizarre burlesquer, and a delusional drag queen. They have been making queer and experimental art in Philadelphia since 2012.
Feather Chiaverini was born and raised in South Florida. His father owns a costume shop, his mother was an actress, and his grandfather was a clown.
Sabine is an elaborate designer whose work focuses on uplifting and celebrating everyone in their skin. From drag to grungy street wear and gorgeous formal gowns she loves to celebrate individual style. Sabine competed in and won the first season of SeamQueen, a local fashion competition here in philly. She has worked with many local drag queens where her creations were taken to the national stage on shows like Drag Race and Dragula.
Jenna is a Philadelphia-based artist and facilitator. Through her textiles and wearables, she explores living fantasy. As a facilitator, she works with communities to bring forth their visions for their neighborhoods, families, schools, and lives. This collaborative artistic journey informs her art practice, which envisions unique, beautiful, mutually created futures.
