Healing in Color: A Queer and Trans Survivor Photo Exhibit and Community Building Experience - Thursday, January 16th
The Phoenix Gender-based Violence Lab at Temple University invites you to witness the healing journeys of LGBTQ+ survivors of gender-based harm through an exhibition that brings together photography, research, and interactive experiences. Through intimate photographs captured by survivors themselves, this exhibition offers a raw and honest portrayal of healing and aims to bring queer community together to celebrate joy and resilience.

Join us as we continue the evening with a celebration of community strength and resilience. Our reception offers a warm, casual environment for connection through creative art activities focused on personal healing, group meditation and dance sessions, and an open mic showcase celebrating queer joy and resilience from 7:45 PM to 8:45 PM. Engage in community building activities while enjoying food and drinks, with 20% of proceeds benefiting our community partner, galaei.
