FEATURING

DJ Matthew David began spinning warehouse parties in the late 90’s in the mid-west. Moving to Philadelphia in 2004 he hosted a monthly New Wave dance party in South Philly.

A purveyor of deep, futuristic, jazzy dance grooves, and a cosmic atmosphere. Toronto-raised— Philly-based Dot Triple Zero describes herself as a DJ. Never afraid to go deep, she explores the concept of Afro-Futurism through sound. On the dance floor, she explores this notion with a cosmic selection of soulful and worldly versions of house music across space and time. While at her own cafe, Sonic Brew, she also explores this notion with a down-tempo set that incorporates funk, soul, broken beat, and hip-hop along with found sounds and sample bytes from public discussions on imagining the concept of blackness in the future.

nicole misha is a Black Feminist, dj, perpetually-aspiring deep listener, teaching artist, and dreamer born and based in Brooklyn, NY.  They've been playing records and throwing parties for 13 years, from North Carolina, New York, and Detroit, to London and Berlin. They've also worked behind the scenes as label manager of the Detroit's Sound Signature label, and behind the counter at places like People's Records, All Day Records, and Head Sounds Records. nicole is here to uplift sound and rhythm as the healing forces of the multiverse. They don't believe in genres, and they do believe in dancing <3
